    Preparation of the natural decongestant

    • 1/2 tablespoon of ground turmeric (5 g).
    • Juice of 1 lemon.
    • 3 tablespoons of honey (90 g).
    • 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (60 ml).
    • 1/2 glass of water (100 ml).
    • A pinch of cayenne pepper.
    • 3 eucalyptus leaves.

    Preparation

    • First, heat the half glass of water in a kettle
    • Then add the eucalyptus leaves for the decoction.
    • Then, include a pinch of cayenne pepper and ground turmeric.
    • Once it has come to a boil, turn off the heat
    • Then add the honey, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice.
    • Mix well. It should not be too thick.
    • Then strain the decongestant to remove pieces of the eucalyptus leaves
    • Finally, take it warm in a dose of  2 tablespoons during the day and 2 before going to sleep. Children only 1 tablespoon, morning and evening.
    • This remedy can last in the refrigerator for about 2 days.

    Other remedies to decongest the nose and throat

    Infusion of aloe vera, honey and lemon

    Excellent for every morning while you have a cold.

    1. Place 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel in a glass of boiling water and allow the decoction
    2. Then, add the juice of 1/2 lemon and 1 tablespoon of honey
    3. Finally, drink it warm to feel relief.

    Steam with onion

    It is a remedy as old as it is traditional.
